Absolute becomes Official Publisher for the F.A.
Absolute Sports is thrilled to announce it's new agreement with the Essex County Football Association to become it's official publisher. Absolute will publish two editions of ECFA Magazine this year as an eBook free of charge to increase the aready impressive reach of the publication across the County.
The release of ECFA Magazine Issue 15, a free biannual glance at the local game including coach education listings from the simple Level One Certificate through to specialist youth and goalkeeping modules. The latest edition is the first to be available as an eBook from the Association’s website at www.essexfa.com
Amongst the main features in the Winter edition of the Magazine are items on facility funding in difficult times, the launch of a brand new Soccability League and an exclusive interview with ‘Essex Boys Turned Posh’ Chris Whelpdale and Scott Griffiths, who now ply their trade in the Coca-Cola Football League with Peterborough United having started out in Essex schools representative football. Also featured is a special Forum on up-and-coming referees as well as articles relating to Futsal and the new 4v4 format.
ECFA Magazine Issue 15 is available to read as an eBook and hard copy versions can be requested by calling Chris Evans on (01245) 393085 or sending an E-Mail to info@essexfa.com All clubs, referees and competitions should have already received their Magazines but further copies are available on request and new names and addresses for subscription are always warmly-received at The County Office.
Southend United Join The Party!
Coca-Cola Football League One side Southend United have signed a contract with Sports Publishers Absolute Sports part of the Absolute Media Group. Absolute Sports will become the Official Publisher of Southend and it gives Steve Tilson's Blues the chance to have their very own End Of Season Review. The Review aim specifically at Blues fans will encapsulate all the thrills and spills of the 2009/2010 and look forward to the exciting times ahead.

City Agree New Deal
Chelmsford City Football Club have put pen to paper on a new three year contract. The deal makes Absolute Sports the official publisher of Chelmsford City Football Club until the end of 2012.
It means the club will now have at least another six editions of City Life published. Due to the fantastic success of the first edition and it phenomenal reception with the fans, City Life will become bi-annual coming out for pre-season and Christmas.
Cambridge United Sign Three Year Deal
Absolute Sports is delighted to announce a three year deal to become the official publishers of Cambridge United Football Club.
Just before Christmas 2009, Absolute Sports will publish “YOUR CITY – YOUR CLUB” – The Official Cambridge United Football Club Review. This will be the first in the series of reviews leading to a massive Centenary Edition in the summer of 2012.
The publications will be a great opportunity for supporters and local businesses to come together to celebrate the achievements of the club, look ahead to where we want to be for the rest of the season and moving forward, as well as discussing what’s necessary for Cambridge United Football Club in order to maximise its great potential.
Chelmsford City Launch New Annual
Chelmsford City Football Club, in partnership with Absolute Sports (UK) Ltd., is pleased to announce the launch of City Life - The Official Club Annual, a free-of-charge publication for City supporters.
The inaugural edition features a round-up of the 2008/09 season, the club’s history, a tribute to Don Walker and player profiles, as well as details on last year’s Player of the Year awards, a look at the Elite, Ladies & Girls and Youth teams, and news from the Supporters’ Club. In addition, there are exclusive interviews and features with Paul Parker, Jimmy Greaves and Sir Trevor Brooking.
City Life is a must-read for Chelmsford City’s existing fan-base as well as grabbing the interest of those in the community who have yet to experience the joys of supporting their local club. City Life - The Official Chelmsford City Football Club Annual - will be distributed at Melbourne as well as in the Town Centre.
Supporters can pick-up their copy at the home game this Saturday, 29th August, when City play host to Bromley in the Blue Square South in a 3:00pm kick-off.
